Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin have filmed two dramas together, It Started with a Kiss 1 + 2. The perfect couple in many people's hearts, in actuality, the two aren't very close, and besides filming together, the two have been reported to not get along well. But, last week, because of ISWAK, the two went to Hong Kong to promote, Ariel gathered up her courage and initiated a conversation with Joe to clear up their situation. This event was the one that helped them clear things up.
When they were filming ISWAK, the two had to [play] "fight" in front of the camera, and once the direction said, "cut", the two would split up. In ISWAK2, the two characters had an even deeper relationship -- one that was elevated to a "married couple" status -- wearing wedding clothes, the two had to pose sweetly together, but privately, they had nothing to talk about! This time going to Hong Kong to promote, once when Ariel was eating, she initiated a conversation with Joe, and this conversation made the many-years of awkwardness open and cleared up. Joe said that he's warm on the outside but cold on the inside, and Ariel said: "I look up to Joe's ability to have so many good friends... someone like me, it's a bit awkward."
